Nice trip out to Westerham taking in Hosey Hill, the dreaded south side of Toys Hill and Ide Hill with Matt, Jon and co. 8am start from Greenwich Park, out through Lee Green and headed out through Hayes onto Biggin Hill and Westerham. First time I'd done any proper hill climbing this year to was very pleased with my average speed and how I felt physically at the end of the ride. Does make me realise that I need to start doing some more hill work though. The fact I'm carrying a lot less weight than last year is having a huge effect on the bike for the better.
