Wednesday Training (Plumstead Runners session)

I had a nice run with the Plums tonight.  Not overly quick but quick enough after leg pressing 130kg last night.  I may have to rethink my strategy of running the day after a weights session again as my legs felt like lead in the last couple of miles tonight.



8 miles. 8:56 min/mile pace (so definitely not overly quick) but I felt I didnt have enough in the legs tonight to loop back around like everyone else does. I was fine for the first 5 miles but then the energy just drained away. Yet another case of not eating enough on a Wednesday prior to the club run I think, alongside last night's weights session.

Its was a good run though. All the usual crowd. Sadly no MJ, Siobhan, Julie or Charlotte these days but we do have three new girls running with us. Sadly all with noticable wedding rings on though. Not that I'd already noticed that or anything... The lass running with us tonight done really well and she's got noticably quicker for the last three weeks. Sadly no Sharon either this week. Her weight loss story puts mine to shame.

Back to the Gym tomorrow night although right now, I'm considering a rest day. I'll make a decision tomorrow morning.
